Thinking of trading my XH A1 for a 5D

I mainly use my XH A1 for music videos but lately I've been incredibly impressed with the 5D. Do you think it would be worth it to attempt to trade, and if so, would anyone even bite?

Your A1 will always sell depending on your price but trading it for a 5D is a matter of luck and timing. Try renting a 5D first.
 
I sold my A1 for $2200 a few months ago. You can find a 5D for that price. I don't think many people would do a straight trade though, so it might be best to just make two transactions.
 
i dont think a trade would happen, more likely 2 individual transactions. might want to try to look for buyers and sellers to effectively just shuttle the cash.

then again prices on both are dropping; i bought an XH A1, Letus Extreme, pelican case, some other misc stuff, and 3 Canon FD lenses for $2200 on here a few months back, and ive seen a few 5D MkII's go for under $1800 in mint shape. its all about timing and having the money when a deal comes along.
