Unlike CraftCamera with Z Cam they have an actual history of shipping out and delivering on many cameras already. I'd say Z Cam is no great deal riskier than say waiting for the BMPCC4K with its 4K 60p
I just wish I didn't dislike the color science of the FS7 so much. Our clients hate it even more, we've actually had the home entertainment and publicity departments of two of studios issue us emails forbidding using the FS7 or FS5 when we rented it once.
The only way I've seen FS7 colors I liked was after much tweaking, grading of S-Log 3. A lot of our work is handed off straight to clients on a deadline, Log doesn't cut it. We shoot WDR for clients exclusively on the Canons and they love it.
