Think you're a geek? Think again. I give you...

mark, whatever it is you are working on can wait. you are potentially sitting on a goldmine here if you do a mockumentary about this guy. all you need to tell people is it's about a klingon rapper named klenginem. the whole premise sounds so absurd, people will want to see this.

That is to the geek community what black tar heroine is to the drug community... (with crack sprinkles).

My brain can't even process it... the temple in Egypt?

I got nothing... that makes Andy Kaufman's sensibilities seem as mainstream as Leno... he's so far off the chart I think he's back on it again.

If they ever bring the Klingons into the new Star Trek movie franchise, they need to have a Klenginem video playing in the background somewhere.

I am enough of a geek to have bought the first edition of the Klingon Dictionary back in the 80's; I can't really remember any of it, but I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything about bitches and ho's in there. (And I apologize to rap fans for stereotyping your favorite music. :) )

Great! With a little PR and luck this guy could hit it big. Though I agree with Arges03, I would think the Klingons would be more like Stovokor and playing Death Metal.

Would like to see a Borg tecnho/trance band. That would be geeky cool! http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?10215-arges03

I'm surprised no one has co-opted Locutus as a name for an electronica act.

We can't forget the Captain Picard song. No Star Trek related thread would be complete without it.

That was great. Makes me miss the show. I can still picture three guys dressed up like Borg making techno music live in clubs. That would have to be about as big potential (and for lawsuit I suppose) as Stokvor has.

Hey, how about a Ferengi bluegrass band?!

Or a duet between Picard and Dathon singing about Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra.

That's a pretty good scene! Classic NG. What episode/season is that from? Television today doesn't have this kind of pacing anymore very often. Everyone is too damned impatient to allow scenes to develop emotionally like this.

Boy, just doing some surfing, there are a lot of geeky Trek people out there.
