Until anyone has actually sat in a theater for a screening of The Room, they are ill-equipped to answer this question.

I have, and it took months for my mind to become un-blown.
 
it's funny that film was always advertised in LA Weekly and played LA for years before it became the phenomenon it is now.
 
And Rodney, watch out, I have already gotten the mods to okay "The Room-Fest"

Transylmania made vampires, college, travel abroad, weed smoking and the entire country of Romania uncool.

The Room just made Tommy Wiseau uncool, if there were every anything cool there in the first place.
 
the worst thing is that the mpaa approved the trailer for all audiences....
and it had a 6.000.000 budget.
 
OK, I have never heard of this movie. I watched the clips, then read alot of the IMDB comments, and now I have to see this. I will be buying this if I can find it. I haven't been this excited about a movie in a while.
 
This is what's known as eaastern european gangsters laundering 6000000$. Hilarity is the result.
 
There was a post a while back from a dvxuser who was doing an interview about his own movie and the people of the radio show thought he was some kind of expert or fan of the Room ....
 
That was Michael Anthony Horrigan. Actually one of the more outstanding members in the DVXFests. He handled it rather gracefully given the circumstances.
 
They play it at the theatre on Sunset once a month I believe. I've went twice but couldn't get a ticket. Sold out both times.
