The Shoot Out Boulder in-camera editing

Hey guys, me and some friends from my college are heading up to Boulder, Colorado this weekend for The Shoot Out Boulder.
Each team shoots a 7 minute short, edited in-camera. I'm bringing my dvx100b to shoot with,
and I was just wondering if anyone had any in-camera editing tips or tricks they could share...for example,
assured ways to avoid delay in between cuts, etc. Thanks!

I'm going to assume from the lack of response it's cake... just utilize the "end search" function. But what about in camera fast motion and stop motion? the methods mentioned in the dvx book utilize editing in post. I'm shooting in 24p.

There's only so much you can do to shoot/edit in-camera. I say good luck. It will be difficult to keep tight edits. Forget stop-motion and fast motion. Too over-complicated for what you are doing and in the time you have.

I'm sure that this competition will turn out some interesting results. Just know that your camera is very limited in the way that you're using it. Keep the edits simple, and monitor your audio closely to make sure that levels are consistent.
