THE RED SENSE_Teaser_DVX100

Pretty much looks phenomenal... one complaint/suggestion... make the trailer bigger!!! I know you probably will for the final trailer, but just wanted to make sure that we are actually able to see your master work in all of its glory with a nice, large trailer.

Looks freaking awesome. Only problem I had and it may just be me, is the voiceover. It fades too much into the music. Might try to bring the level on that up just a bit to make it easier to understand. Other than that I loved it. Will be looking for the full movie in the future.

wow....the grabs look amazing. i'm having trouble loading the trailer as well, but i will try it. i love the poster design as well. looking forward to this.

wow...just watched the trailer. it looks extremely professional. would you mind me asking, what did you use to compose the music? and also, what lenses (if you used any) were used? looks great!

A+++. Please lets be seeing more of this sort of teasers!.
Men, I have AE with magic bullet, Maya7, Vegas 6, Color Finesse, Boris, Combustion, +++ and I still can't get them to work like this ...hmm, may be I should just hire you to do my editing men!!!!

Thanks mate, i guess there are rules to follow in everything, the music composed by a musician Robert J Sedky, he is a Mac user, he uses Apple Logic Pro. The lense is a leica lense, no other lense beside the fixed lense. All come to CC in AE.

After numerous researches, no need those expansive high end tools, esp. when you have a micro budget. My solution is AE. Remember the depth of field (DOF) and retain the richness of its original colours are very crucial.

Eg: if i do a lanscape CC, wanted to create a warm or orangie look, you would assume the trees and the grass probably would go orange, which you don't want, its a common mistake, so to avoid that, you have to do it manually in AE, by applying different coloured layers with diff. mode option and opacity, very similar techniques in photoshop. Hope it makes sense. Good luck.

Hello there, Congrats your feature is Hot in the making.
I have few Questions regarding , Your settings in you DVX 100a
Were they 24pa /Any adapters / Specific Scene File settings / How did you get your film to captere such images on the DVx.. What approach did you take on the lighting? Did you White balance Alot ? 3 point lighting ? How did you get those skin tones on the photos, you showed ?

Thank you, let me clarify those qs you asked. i use DVX100. yes 24p, no adapter, (i wish i have mini 35mm adapter). the setting i have to get back to you on that can't recall on top of my head. No 3 point lighting, mostly one point with white defuser and natural light. Skin tones its all to do with CC in AE. if you have some knowledge of photoshop you should be able to apply that in AE. for skin tones i tend to increase little magenta and yellow. Cheers

Some more recent screengrabs from the film, enjoy and have a great Xmas season.
