C100: The perfect HDMI cable

Hi,

Working with DSLR or C100 together with stuff like EVF, Ninja2, external Monitor and so on needs a lot of HDMI cables. I had one from Zacuto, shipping with the EVF, looks great with the swivable ends but it brokes after two weeks and i'm a careful worker.


So, does anybody know other alternatives to this cable ?

Love these super thin HDMI cables. I also have the one in your picture. The swivel head is nice but the weight and stiffness of the cable is bulky on the camera.

Although they are 6ft long, I find the Apple HDMI cables to be great. SO thin and flexible. Cheap too.

super thin, cheap. they do numerous lengths and with mini to full size, full to full, mini to mini etc.. you can coil these up by winding them around a ballpoint pen and they stay coiled.

Has anyone found a good locking HDMI cable for the C100 (i.e., with a screw on the end)?
I haven't had any issues with the C100/Ninja/HDMI yet but for a bit extra peace of mind it might be worthwhile getting one.

Wanted to share this as a "secret tip", but now that dustylense beat me to it, I'm just going to agree!

Thin enough to wrap around the handle and long enough to allow for more exotic setups with monitor a bit away from camera, e.g. camera on slider or small jib.

On the Ninja end I use a Cable Lock HDMI Saver Clamp. I Keep the Ninja in a small waist pack for run n gun so this works great:

Hands down best HDMI cables out there. Super thin. Less mass pulling on the cables and no bulky cord relief to get bumped or pulled on. I have tried all the rest out there and these are all I use now (with 1DC, small HD DP4 and wireless transmitter)
