The Official NFL 09-10 Season

Patriots 59-0?!?!? Whaaaaat!?!?!

That was a **** kicking we laid on the Titans yesterday. The game was over 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter.

Honestly I think the weather played a huge factor in the game, the Titans were giving us way to much room and looked lost trying to play in the snow. Thats a really good advantage to have playing in New England.

Brady with 5 TD's in the second quarter, 6 TD's in total (could have easily been 8 had they left him in), there was no stopping our offense yesterday. The Titans basically handed us the game with 5 turnovers and we just kept on captilizing. Some really sweet hookups from Brady to Moss and Brady to Welker. Really nice to see the offense come around.

We punted the ball once yesterday and that was at the end of the game....I think we only didn't score on two possesions and one of those was a missed field goal at the start of the game.

Were off to London this weekend.

Great win last night guys.

As someone pointed out in the offseason (clears throat) looks like the hiring of McDaniels re-ignited the Broncos. :)

What happened at the start of the game? just saw them show a quick shot of a fight nearly breaking out. I'm sure it was the Chargers being dicks as they usually are.

Cutler - 10 TD's - 7 INT's - 64% completion
Orton - 9 TD's - 1 INT's - 63.9% completion

That being said, still only 6 games in.

Yes, fantastic win! I mean, we had everything going against us and we still managed to win by two scores. Not only do the Chargers always get up for us, but it was in San Diego, on a Monday night, they just had a BYE and we haven't won there since 2005 I believe. It was a great win all around. As for the pre-game fight, I'm with the announcers. It just looked like a lot of false bravado.

Our Defense has been ridiculous in the 2nd half. They have been finishing off teams and finishing games. Our Special Teams are VASTLY improved over last year. And, I'm not just talking about Eddie Royals returns. I mean, I don't have a cardiac arrest every time we punt or kick off the ball. I feel like we have a pretty good shot at stifling their return.

Having said that I am concerned with some things. Although Kyle Orton has been playing mistake free football our Offense can't seem to get those 3rd and short yardages. What's been a nice surprise is that Orton seems to get those conversions where Moreno can't. But, why can't we convert those? Why, oh why, isn't Hillis's number called on those plays? I have been patiently waiting to see him and once again, on several occasions, our drives were killed by an effort that fell short by Moreno. Don't get me wrong, he's obviously very talented but he is still learning. Those third and shorts seem to be a much better fit for the bigger, more bruising style of Peyton Hillis.

I'm just concerned because down the stretch some explosive team will figure out how to score on the Defense in the 2nd half. When that happens, we are going to need to have the ability to get into an offensive rhythm and keep drives going. We have arguably the best Offensive line in football, some of the best talent at the skill positions, Marshall, Shef, Royal, Graham, Stokely, potentially Moreno, a Quarterback who hasn't thrown 1 single meaningful interception through six games, yet we can't seem to convert 3rd and shorts or be more consistent at moving the ball.

What is it? Play calling? We need more time to gel? I can't seem to figure out why we are not moving the ball more per game. Yeah, the Offense is ranked number 10 but the ability to move the ball, at will, isn't really there. We are usually counting on the big play.

Hopefully, the Bye week will give them more time to iron out some things because the rest of the schedule is BRUTAL. @Ravens, Steelers, Chargers again, @Indy etc....ugh....

But concerns aside, WOW. 6-0. This kid is doing an incredible job. Whether we win or lose, I think he is going to have them ready and pumped for every game.

What do you mean by dicks? Heh. Do you realize how many Bronco players are related to gangs and violence?

Yeah it did.

We had a pretty up and down season.

And **** we lost Welker yesterday for the rest of the year, that is really going to hurt, I hated seeing him gone down, that was such a familar feeling when Brady went down last year. That is a huge blow to our offense. Welker is the defenition of a football player.

Who would have thought the 4-12 Chiefs would have knocked the Broncos out of the playoffs not to mention the Chiefs would be 4-12. What a crazy year.

I would have thought. I knew Denver was going to lose, unfortunately. We haven't played with heart, or smarts, for nearly 3 months. After starting 6-0, McDaniels predictable play calling lost so many games. How many times can you unsuccessfully ask your rookie running back to pick up a 3rd and short and expect to win? How many times? I think I saw Hillis all of 4 times and two of those times was on special teams. How can you bench Tony Scheffler? For attitude problems?? How in the hell can you bench our very best player in Marshall?!?! Sure, you're the coach, you feel like you need to send a message to the rest of the team but at what cost? A loss? Are you outta your freaking mind!? Your whole POINT is to win games no matter what locker room issues you have. You don't bench your star receiver for an essential game.

In case I haven't made it obvious, I can't STAND this guy. He hasn't done ANYTHING right since he got to Denver and now we gotta deal with this clown for another year. Just enough time for him to do a bit more dismantling. Can't wait until Dennison and Turner follow Shanahan. Then we'll really be screwed. Ugh.

So wait, we trade a top 5 receiver for another receiver whose got a questionable upside? And, Tim freaking Tebow??? I can honestly say that I haven't agreed with one single thing McDaniel's has done for the past year. Kill me.
