My order was sent to warehouse yesterday morning. still no ship. Talked to customer service twice today. assured me that it was 'on the list to ship today'. Thats all i know. I want it for the weekend.

You and I have been burning up the BH customer service it seems.. haha. Have faith, just got my tracking number 3 mins ago..
I fly cameras just like AerialPan, so I am anxious to get this camera mounted to the heli-cam and into the air. I have already seen what it can do.

Got my mount in the mail today! Now I can use my lenses and finally test this camera out! Got a shoot tonight I can use it for, so I better get myself well aquainted with the camera before I go shoot with it. I've read a bit about how the camera works on this forum already (make sure VFR is off when recording audio, otherwise you won't get any audio even though it looks like audio is coming through) so hopefully the shoot goes well!

Just joined the 'got my AF101 crew' as my 2 HVX's went the opposite way in part exchange.
Light as hell with no lens compared to the HVX. That got sorted nicely when I popped my FD 85 f1.2L on, and big kudos to Pana for the balance with a heavy lens on.
Wow, what an LCD compared to my dithered HVX. I can actually see pinsharp peaking on it. Very easy to focus matched with focus in red.
No apparent green cast, but then I'm not judging colour from the LCD, only exposure, focus and composition.
Need to get an SDI board for my much loved LH80 though for colour decisions.
Found that pulled into my collar bone, my right thumb sits very snugly and comfortably hooked into the front of the handgrip (fingers underneath) and rested in my palm,
rather than trying the usual fingers up through and thumb at the back. A new shooting position...
Buttons and catches have a slightly plastic, loose feel, but I'm one happy bunny so far I can tell you as I start my settings search.
The record buttons are fiddly.
The control over the scene file seems much bigger than the HVX.
I'll initially miss my SGPro, but to have the same lenses, plus my GH-1 lenses on a beautiful full-res HD camera like this is a dream.

Mine is stuck in the UPS cross border shipping hell - scheduled for delivery yesterday, now scheduled for tomorrow because of some unspecified import problem. Happens everytime with UPS, yet FedEx, Purolator, DHL, even the post office can get a package over the border overnight without any problems.
Oh well - crew arrives soon for todays shoot, that should keep my mind occupied. If the camera had arrived it would have distracted us from the task at hand: shooting roasted ducks.

Received my camera on Wednesday and am very happy with it....especially that most of my HVX accessories will work with it...Hot Rod tuner kit is awesome.
