LOL. Wow. I've been on the phone with TV Specialists in Utah for like 6 hours discussing my order with the AF100 and some accessories they were including. Finally after finalizing pricing on some accessories my agent went to run the card and said "Your not going to believe this but the last camera sold out 4 minutes ago." I just had assumed that after all of that they had a camera on hold for me, but they didn't. Pretty miffed since I am leaving for a shoot in India in 4 days and the other stores in New York are blizzard'ed in. Anybody got some advice for me please let me know!!!!!

No tracking number for me today.... BH had me all pumped that is was going out today.. denied... :) It is all good though, posting about it is not going to make it get here quicker.
 
Alright!!!, got one from BH today and just saw it has a tracking number now. Thursday is going to be a suspenseful day. Also canceled my abel preorder as i cant wait for 3rd or 4th wave so anyone that ordered 12/16 or later jumped up. Also canceling a 3rd spot for preorders with snader.
 
I ordered a few weeks back still order sent to warehouse. I really don't get why I didn't get a tracking number today...
 
for the people receiving their cameras from this recent batch, was Barry's book packaged with it instead of the coupon?

i got an in stock email from BH, immediatly ordered and told adorama to piss off, they promised me i was #7 and getting a first batch camera. here we are a month later and no apology or even attempt to rectify their terrible lying and handling of it. BH gets my money
 
WooHoo!! I got my camera today from Abel Cine in NYC. Ordered back in mid October. Yes Barry's AF100 book was in the box.

Could be your order.. but from the sounds of things it seems like everyone's getting theirs on this batch(from other stores). But yeah, I did ask if I was getting the early January batch and the guy sad "i think so" which I took as a "no, most likely not" but figured it would be like that anywhere I ordered from.
 
Arrived nice and early this morning. Having in the past owned a HVX201 and a HPX171, who then went to a Canon DSLR for a while, this cam appears to be the perfect next step. Lovely.
 
Chatted with BH again this am. The friendly guy on the other side said he was unsure why it did not ship yesterday, but changed my order to Next day air and said it would ship today. We will see, need that tracking number..

Any other BH orders go out yesterday?

Found out mid day yesterday that B&H had cameras in stock - and since my October pre-order here in Canada for two won't be filled for at least another two weeks (+); I bought one of them. Shipped last night from B&H and is listed by UPS as 'on truck for delivery' should see it by end of day today.

Feeling a little bad that people with pre-orders from months ago haven't been shipped to yet - when I was able to just breeze in order and get delivery right away. Still really frustrated by my local retailer who hasn't been able to get stock...
 
Had mine for about a week now.

Got it with the 14 140, 20 and 45. Blew my expectations right outta the water!

I expected a DSLR with extra buttons but this thing is really and truly an Indy film maker's camera!
50fps looks gorgeous, camera responds beautifully to creative lighting set ups and I dunno what all this nonsense is about banding and burn out.
The Panny is the real deal.

I'm in love.

No more RED and expensive glass hire for me, this thing will do the job perfectly (without a three man camera crew)!
 
I ordered a Nikon lens adapter and some other stuf from B&H and I got off the phone just a little while ago with a rep he told me that they still have AF100s in stock (at least 1/2 hour ago)
 
Another happy Af101 UK owner via productiongear :) Came with 21mm and 50mm macro zeiss zf2 lenses and Barry's book - lots of playing and reading to do. The tips and tricks thread got me off to a great start with my playing this afternoon.

shipping delays?

Anyone know if B&H is having shipping delays due to the bad weather in the North East?
