The official "I got my AF100" thread

Got my call from Abel as well! Considered asking them to upgrade my shipping as well, but with the snowpocalypse hitting right now, went with regular shipping and it'll get here when it gets here. Can't wait, though!

Frank: They called my parents' home which I put on file when I pre-ordered. I recently updated my Abel account to reflect my personal information. But they got to me and all is well.

Mine is shipping today through Media Solutions. They say it shipping from NY and Media Solutions is from CA. Not sure who their supplier is, but I'm a happy camper!

I don't see why you'd need to lose the deposit - either the company could refund it and sell the camera immediately anyways just making someone further down the pre-order list happy, or you could take delivery with a local buyer taking it off your hands at cost.
 
Got an email yesterday from the nice guys at Vocas in the Netherlands that my AF101 was on it's way!
I waited impatiently today and when the UPS lady arrived at noon and I wanted to give her a big hug.....

wow thats fast! I wish it would get here soon. I just finished my 1st studio production and am itching to try it out before the next one.
 
Placed my order on 1/23. Got the "In stock, order sent to warehouse" message yesterday. Now impatiently waiting on a tracking number. Hope to be shooting with it by Thursday or Friday.
Shot with one all day yesterday and was really impressed. No more back breaking HVX+Letus set up!
 
In the same waiting game from B&H. Ordered 1/14 and order status still say " sent to warehouse" Chatted online with customer service and they said it will ship today, but it is almost 6pm on the East Coast. Tracking # please !! haha
 
I just got off the phone with TV Specialists out in Utah. I got their last AF100! It's out with UPS tomorrow! Whoever posted that notice yesterday, thanks!
 
Hmm, with all these new B&H orders shipping, I kinda feel like I jumped in the wrong line at the supermarket. Here's hoping my camera is in the batch that Abel picked up this afternoon . . .
 
Ordered at B&H on 1/20, status 'sent to warehouse' all day. Manically clicking the refresh button... :-)
