Please bear in mind that I had pre-ordered in October. This is why I am receiving mine on Thursday. If I was to order now, I'd probably only receive from the 27th on.

Wow, that's great to know for future reference.

I remember seeing that ups was the cheapest method on the site, maybe that's why i chose that option. Perhaps purolator is going to cost me less at the end of the day, but since it's expedited there is no brokerage, just taxes, which i imagine would be the same either way?
 
yeah its a cheaper option. also great to know that BH adds duties for you on your costs, which is great so there is no money exchanged at the door. theres no escaping duties so paying with the order is a nice option.

edit- sorry didnt see heavy G's response, basically the same thing =].

electronics are duty free :) All i have to pay are taxes.

ah, gotcha. good to know. yeah i normally like to stick to purolator for most things, usps, canada post... Affordable and reliable, and i never have to call in to inquire about something...

I ordered in mid December with HPreston and I've just been given the date of the 18th.

I called both 3D and Creative this afternoon, both are saying similar dates for the next UK batch, late Jan.

So I held my breath, closed my eyes and put a deposit on an AF101 with Creative, for delivery Jan 27th.

Gulp!

My GH2 with a bunch of lenses arrives end of this week - I'm nervous 'cos it's a ton of money to drop but... strangely excited at the same time :)

Bh is shipping orders taken in late December...I placed early Nov and I'm in limbo...WTF!

I'm with you. Placed mine sometime in October and I still can't get an ETA.
 
I was told yesterday by Jasmine at Specialized Communications mine should arrive there tomorrow (Wed 1/5) and should ship tomorrow or Thursday to me. If all goes well, I should have it next week. I ordered mine in late November.

I ordered two months ago from dsvideo.tv in the uk and it will Be shipped tomorrow. I am counting the hours...
