The official "I got my AF100" thread

My camera arrived this morning. I placed my order with Abel on Oct. 6th and they called on NYE to finalize the order and ship. Adapter arrives tomorrow so I have to wait to put a lens on it.

Yep. Just got my tracking number as well. Should be here by Friday. Guess I know how I'll be spending my weekend! :grin:

WOW. I ordered Dec 16 with Abel and knew i was late but expected it late Jan. early Feb. but I never thought BH would have been that fast.
 
B&H just shipped mine today too! Can't wait! Ordered December 14th and located in Greensboro, NC.
 
Just received word that Spec Comm is shipping my unit out for delivery by Friday. They have been great to work with throughout this pro-order process. Would work with them again.
 
Ordered mine through Silverado Dec 15th. Just spoke to the CEO, and he has now clue when to expect their shipment.

It's strange to me, that these smaller companies have no idea whatsoever on delivery, but B&H's units are flying out of their warehouse! I was so freakin close to ordering from B+H too.

The Eagle has landed.

AF100 is on my desk with a Zeiss Standard mounted; going home to digest the manual and play with the settings. Studio is blocked out tomorrow for testing. Unfortunately, no belly dancer on the schedule...

Almost only 10 days difference in delivery, for a difference of 2 months in ordering.:grin:

My GH2 with a bunch of lenses arrives end of this week - I'm nervous 'cos it's a ton of money to drop but... strangely excited at the same time :)

When I ordered, 3D Broadcast had a much lower price than Creative. For your choice, it seems this is no longer a fact. Don't be nervous... Money is only good for what it can be traded for... Not for itself. You invested well, as long as you have market for what this camera does.
