B&H shipped 65 AF100s between friday and today. So if you were somewhere between 1 and 65 and are in the continental US. You'll have your AF100 by Friday.

Has anyone received a tracking number from B&H?
Sure Shawn, thanks for your interest. I sent my inquiry to the customer service address because I did not want to pester my sales agent. I asked him a couple weeks ago, and figured since I had not heard anything new yet, the units were not actually in, but really I just need a realistic projection for my upcoming project. Since he had to ask purchasing before, I thought it best to not bother him, and just inquire with customer service and they could check. But I got a notice the email recipient would be out for a week, though the email would be forwarded for response. Anyway, thanks for asking, I assume it went into a general inbox. I am reading from another member here that you guys have not any further update, but last I heard delivery was projected for end of month (which would still work for my shoot).
I have just received an e-mail from Full Compass. He now advises their AF100s are expected around January 7th. Original estimate was end of this month, which would have worked fine for my shoot. This may be an issue. Has B&H sold all of their original allocation? Any other retailers with soon expected deliveries? No slam on Full Compass, they've been responsive, but I wish I had known this was going to be delayed from the original estimate.

I don't think Panny ever made a decisive delivery date announced publicly. My December estimate was given to me from my retailer who'd checked directly with Panasonic a couple weeks ago on the question of delivery dates. I'm really not being critical of Full Compass or Panasonic - units get out when they get out. I'm just trying to make an informed decision on scheduling my shoot based on estimates of delivery, and am weary of push-backs. If need be, I can use my older gear - but it would not deliver the same caliber of images for my client as the AF100, so I'm still holding out hope for something within the next week or so.

They said that the last shipment would leave Japan by Dec 27th. There was never any indication on how soon the dealers would turn them around to customers.
For those waiting -- if you're waiting for a northeast-coast dealer, you might be in for a bit of a wait -- the storm up there is disrupting shipping.

Do you have heavy snow over there in Parma? I ask because I suspect the heavy snow in England, Holland and France must be reason for the delay here. I ordered mine from a dealer in Holland but no news yet, but some people got their cams from French dealers last week, before the current period of snow started. Starting tomorrow the temperatures will be higher so the snow should vanish within 1 or 2 days.
