So Mark, Barry, this means you two are doing one right? You can't brow beat Hudson into doing something you won't do 
And if your answer is 'too busy', well we all are. I'm certain that at a minimum, you can find one day, sometime in the next 3 months, to do a simple 2 character, 1 scene situation of some interesting dramatic angle. (Or just go all out)
