Really nice/strong color correction here. There were a couple spots that I felt were a tad out of focus but very solid, polished look throughout. Great work.

Oh yes, and audio sounds great of course!

Polished sounding band. I liked the aspect ratio, but it looked squished, is it supposed to be 16:9 or 2.35-ish:1?

I think the shots are well done, the lighting seems really sound and the grading is excellent. I particularly like the grading in the field with the red balloons. That establishing shot is awesome.

First I disliked the crushed blacks.
Then I liked them, because you´re lighting was appropriate for this throughout the band shots.
All in all this was a really well produced video and the song was just about as much emo as I generally can handle...
The singer was off sync sometimes, some CUs were very soft and as mentioned before the aspect ratio looked squished. But I guess you know all of that already...

BTW, thanks for making me feel old... :cheesy:

I like the look.

But the progressive version on Vimeo looks a bit strange.

If you pause the video you get a double image. Which makes me think you shot at 50 (or 60) fps and some process averaged the frames together to create 24fps.

wow thanks everyone, i wasnt bashed! ha.
It was shot in 24 and i am replacing a more suited aspect ratio to rid of the squashed look.
The ratio is 1.33,
and Spartacus i'm glad i made you feel odd. Hopefully in the uncomfortable manner?

I appreciate the compliments so far, and as well as the honesty of critiques :cheesy:

I liked it, the grading was nice, but something seemed a little off about hte grading on the close ups of the guys face. They looked nice, but slighly amatuerish, i think if you fixed this one item it would really add a lot.

Not sure i liked the aspect ratio, why did you go for it?

I have a music vid shoot comming up, and id love for it to come out this good.

what close ups on which guys face?
Aspect ration was because it was originally too stretched so i squished it to look more appealing....but i suppose that didnt work haha

and thank you, i'm super fattered i'm sure it will be better *your music video

It was shot in 24

Hi Ryan,

If you hit pause in the outdoor footage you see a double image.
So if you shot in 24 - and edited in 24 - this should not happen.

If you somehow converted to a 60i project. You might see something like this.
