The Next Big Thing from Sony

Mid level 4K camera in F3 type body?

If they can record their RAW lite internally, it would be a major hit.
 
As the F3 isnt that old, same for the FS100. The FS700 is new as is the F65 - Im wondering if their "Next Big Thing", might not be a very updated ENG cam.
 
+1 for this. A big sister for the F700, a F4. Now I will not mind if they could change the design now of the F3...

There will never be an "F4", as many have mentioned before; 4 is an unlucky number in Japan. :huh: It sounds like "death" in Japanese. But on a lighter note, the F3 is being rebated at the moment so that might be a connection.
 
With the F65 only just landing, I can't imagine there's going to another big large-sensor camera announcement anytime soon.
 
What ever it is, it's XDcam related. The ad is only in the XDCAM section on the pro sony site. The fs100 got beat out with the fs700, I think its time the F3 gets beat out with ????
 
Could it be the ENG Electric zoom control lens or 4k recording device for the FS700? That's not XDCAM related but I would think that would be the next big thing from sony.
A better version of the F3 would be great but I didn't see that comming. 5 days hey.

I hate suprises. :(

If they announce something similar to the form of ex1r with features like 4:2:2, 1080p60fps, buffered slow mo etc, i'd be VERY sad right now. Got an ex1r just 7 months ago.

So, i hope it is something else :)
