SONY NEX-FS700
In the modular design of the NEX-FS700, Sony based on FS 100 but there is an improved removable handle on the top and the second XLR input has moved forward. Also, the screw has been improved based on customer feedback and have now expanded focus and auto iris functions on the grip available. In addition, the lenses get a handle for future Zoom rocker

As in this class might be expected, there are internal ND filter in three stages (1/4ND, 1/16 ND, 1/64ND). She has an SDI output including 3G, and dominates the AVCHD recording up to 1080p50 and 1080p24 popular in this class. There is also a slow motion with 120, 240, 480, 960 frames / second. 120 and 240 frames per second, Full HD, at 480 and 960 pictures, the quality is reduced.

The gamma curves can be affected as the PMW-F3. It captures a slot via optional Memory Stick or SDXC cards. It can use the Recorder HXR-FMU128. The sound recording via the two XLR jacks works in LPCM. The camera has a photo feature with 8.3 megapixel resolution. It can copy camera settings and picture profiles using a memory card to other NEX-FS700 cameras.

The NEX-FS700E is a 4K-ready NXCAM camcorder with a superior Super35mm CMOS sensor, super slow-motion capability and an interchangeable E-mount lens system, offering unrivaled flexibility and creative expression.

Looks like they removed all the short-comings of the fs-100. 10x slow motion in full hd! Whats that 300fps.
 
Stills at 8MP that's a bonus. Still looking a bit plastic but if they price stays at 8K I see the competition just upped a couple of notches. It'll be interesting to see what Canon or Panasonic will show at NAB.
 
I have had my FS100 for under a month.... (crickets).... Who needs slomo anyway!....... (more crickets).
 
I'm guessing its going to be around 12k australian which is still a damn good price. It's not going to replace the fs100, just give us more options. Can't wait to see what the new F3 is going to deliver.
 
I'm not disappointed at all. I couldn't be happier with the FS100 for th price I paid. Although the 700 will definitely be something I'll consider hiring for all that slomo work I'm doing... Ive been shooting high drama narrative sports soaps.
 
With all these features the world must be truly coming to an end- why else would they give so much..... :-D

Sony fights hard when they need too, seen them do it before. This camera looks to be awesome!

only thing i wish my fs100 had was the ND filters and the handle... maybe sony will come out with a better handle for the fs100? either way, this makes me curious about firmware upgrades for the fs100.. im assuming the sensor and such are very similar, what kind of features could they add to the fs100 with firmware? maybe im getting my hopes up, but even a bump to 120fps for the fs100 would be nice.
 
I hope the FS100 get´s the 4 new cinegama curves of the FS700 via firmware - that would be more value for me as all the other features of the update.

What would a FS100 be worth now in europe? €4000/€3000??? I'm going to get the FS700, just for the ND.

I looked at the front of my fs100 to see if it's removeable, but it isn't. Because on the pictures it looks like they just screwed a new front on the old body.
Would be awsome if you could upgrade the FS100 but if I look how it's build it ain't going to happen.

FS100 for sale! :)
