Well...not a lot of actual video footage, but the graphics all look great.

But I fear poor Evelyn's nerves are never going to be the same.

Some nice intro stuff and editing etc..nice and creative
I have some criticism, I hope its not too abrasive, its meant to be constructive.
I have difficulty getting my head around the fact that you are advertising the UHD 4K shooting of this teaser, yet the footage could and looks (because of post processing) that it could have been
shot on any crappy ancient low res cam....it seems self defeating in so many ways.
I realize that this may be the retro look you are going for creatively, but the entire teaser is not even like anything that even looks slightly 4K, at least in the teaser maybe put in some really detailed nicely lit proper 4K UHD looking footage.
Just my 2 cents, I wasnt going to comment but...

Thanks! That is valid feedback and I struggled with the 4K delivery as well.... 4K but all dumbed down to poor looking visuals on purpose. In the end, just kept it at 4K for the parts that were cleaner and learned a tona bout editing/processing 4K in the process. :)

I think the thing I really dislike is the focal length used throughout. It works for an environment establishing shot, but after that I would have liked to see some close up over the shoulder shots. That would have helped the trailer in a few ways:

1. It would amplify the intensity of the dialog between the actors and really make the audience realize the dire nature of the situation. Maybe a 50 or 85mm would have worked well, with the go pro as a B cam. If the budget didn't allow the lens rental, you could have delivered in 2K, and used the 4K to zoom in for you.

2. It would help eliminate the annoying reflections off of the interior window. A circular polarizer would have helped also.

3. When adding special effects, you need to ensure you emulate what these effects will do to the environment. For instance, when the explosions occur, you should add a coloured light to match the explosion illuminate the talent on the explosion side. This helps blend in the effect to make it more believable.

I hope these tips help.

all good stuff estarkey, thanks for providing feedback. All parts showing the people are "Security cameras" so that framing was on purpose. It's that way for people who are watching this historical footage. Yes, the effects are really bad - just me experimenting - I'd rather leave those to people who know how to do that kind of thing. :D Thanks again for the valuable feedback.

Well I get the framing now that I understand it's supposed to be security cam footage. Maybe it would help if there was "Security Cam 1" and "Security Cam 2" in CRT green in those scenes to clue the audience in to this being a security camera.

There is date / time / ip camera info in the footage. I edited on a 4K screen so sized it to be seen there, but it is too small in other viewings. If I ever get funding for it, I'll go back to the initial idea of square, B&W, crappy footage to be more obvious. I just felt so dirty filming in 4K and wanting to scale it down to look so crappy :D
