Hi, I've been reading on here for a little bit now and just got my XL2 in a few days ago. Here are two grabs of some stuff I was just messing around with.

Hmmm..... I think your focus in the first shot is a little soft. Not sure what you're going for here with lighting. I'm also not sure why your pics are different sizes... What settings are you using?

Well the first one, just the nose is soft I think, well mainly the nose. As you can see in the second picture, he has a gigantic nose and I was using that to show a shallow DOF, since he's just a figure I have that's about 12" tall. The lighting, I just turned on a table lamp I had next to him so I could just get some sort of contrast. Why the pictures are different sizes, I have no idea. And as far as settings go, I didn't write them down but they are still set in my camera so I'll get them next time I get a chance. I'm getting over being sick right now so I'm trying to stay still, might explain why the first one looks soft focus too.

Looks interesting. Got any clips?

And where did you get that 12" figure? It's trippy.

The only thing I did with that was just doing some rack focusing. I can post that when I finish my site since I'll probably put it on there anyway.

The figure is the Madhatter from Alice. I work at a movie store that sells collectables and got him there.
