the look I'm going for in my new film

this is the look (Grading) im going for in my new short doc film about a fishing village. I haven't shown my partner as yet so i dont know if this is final...but i'd like it to be

Looks sweet man, Love the grade, it's not a look you see a lot of. I guess thats why I like it so much. Are you desaturating, and lowering the contrast?

Hey Maran thanks for taking the time. Yes I do desaturate and lower the contrast, however alot more goes into it. I'm using 2 layers of colorista II with different features manipulated in each layer and also RGB curves. This is in Premiere Pro cs5.5 (not that i think that matters really).

Yeah, I love colorista, and looks. Lately I have been using some of the built in color correction inside premiere pro as well. It's great to have options. Keep me posted on when your video is wrapped, I would love to check it out, I also have a friend from your parts who would most likely be interested as well.
