The Legend of the Stationery Officer

The break room scene seemed way too dark but I guess it also added some atmosphere. Funny stuff all around. Very interesting idea that must have been a lot of fun to run with. Pretty good story as well. A little rough around the edges but overall it was a lot of fun to watch.

Good concept and I enjoyed watching it. There were a couple of issues here and there in terms of sound and lighting but overall, you got your story across with some decent performances. I thought it was pretty cool.

I really got into this story! I loved the off the wall comedy! It was hilarious! Just hone a couple of those little issues that others have mentioned! One of my favorite films so far!

Hilarious, fun, loved the moustached man shot. Wish it was lit a bit brighter, so I could so more of what was happening, but the staple gun effect brightened my festival viewing experience, so no qualms there! The woman spitting in the coffee cup was one of my favorite moments in the whole fest. Thanks for putting this together, I know you had issues with locations and equipment and everything, and I was very happy to see what your finished product looked like. Great work.

This was a blast and I found it very funny...great job! Creative story and interesting take on the theme.
I loved the horse hoof sounds as he's rollin' in...and the stapler...awesome! (wish I had one of those)
Very enjoyable films.

If I had one nitpick....I felt there was too much shake in the tight shots.

Congratulations to cast & crew alike!

Cheers for the replies. Sorry for the lack of comments and reviews on other films, my editing computer decided to implode just after we uploaded it and I have only just got it up and running today - after all out production problems I guess its a miracle it wated that long to die, although it was having problems through post. Will review other films over the weekend.

As alot of people have pointed out the narration scenes are quite dark. I lit it this way because our narrator pulled out so we had the same actor who played the stationery officer narate it. Everyone who read the script thought that the narrator was an older version of the stationery officer despite the fact that the story was told in the third person so we rolled with that. But because it didn't make any sense to the story and to add a little bit extra to the film I decided to underexpose it and leave the narrators identity a mystery.
