The Incredible Hulk (2008)

I agree with Simon's post way back... They should have gotten someone like Jay Cutler (bodybuilder) to play the hulk. A CGI character is stupid.

And if anyone says, "Well, but he wouldn't be able to act!"... Lou Ferrigno did a credible job with the TV series and he wasn't an actor. All that the Hulk character would have to do is grunt and throw stuff around...

The only Hulk movie I would watch in theatres would have to be a comedy. A Satire to losing temper. That character has so much potential for sketches...

So, out of all of you that saw it, did you catch Captain America? Leterrier still swears he is in it.

I believe the cannister of stuff William Hurt grabs to inject Tim Roth's character with is labeled with the name of the Dr. who injected Captain America with super serum. Not sure if that's what he meant.

That is one of the eggs, but he still insists that Cap is in it. I have also heard the news clippings at the beginning mention Steve Rogers was found, but i missed that.

Please dont tell me I'm going to have to go back and watch this turkey again to look for easter eggs. It was painful enough to watch the first time.

I wouldn't say it was painful, but I plan on getting the DVD and slow crawl through it.

OK, finally got around to watching this. I liked it a lot as escapist entertainment. And, you can look at it as a sequel OR a reboot, whichever you like -- though they retconned the origin, in true comic book style.

I loved the many references to the TV show, and the continuity with Iron Man.

I really enjoyed this movie. Ed Nortons one of my favorite actors and I believe he was perfect for this role. I view this as a sequel to a terribly botched movie. The first movies problem was entirely too much drawn out story with anticlimactic action sequences. The action in this movie was good, it stuck close to the source material and it set up for the Avengers movie which im very excited to see. Great movie, I highly recommend it.
