The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Of course it looks good, but it still looks like it doesn't belong into real world. It would probably fit into a Final Fantasy like movie, but not into a real movie. My opinion of course :)

Yeah, also waiting for Dark knight! Can't wait to see it!

My favorite was always Capt America, with Batman as a close second. Note that I don't feel the same about the Batman Movie Franchise, they have deviated too far from the character. Hulk was always good for some mayhem, but it was his interaction with other heroes that made him interesting. I also miss Rick Jones. It was Rick that helped to keep Hulk somewhat grounded.

Just saw it. It was fantastic! It impressed me a lot more than I thought it would. I thought the CGI was going to suck but after watching the entire movie I have my quibbles but the CGI work was dare I say in a lot of shots incredible. I'm very picky about that stuff and they did an awesome job.

7/10...go see this guys, its worth it.

Totally fun. Great style, and cinematography. Understated and adult. More about Hulk smashing things than it is about story...but I guess that's what the audience wants.

i loved the hulk. i was VERY hesitant on seeing it, but once i did, i'm ****ing hooked. it was incredible (pun intended).

i give it an 8/10.

ed norton did a great job helping bring this to life. letterier (sp?) was perfect for this movie. the cinematography was awesome. very dark, lots of greens (obviously)

go see this movie.

well liking both films I can say this was the hulk. enjoyable and just action packed.

Ang Lee's was like a poem and it just didn't work to many people's liking. Plus I think Ang Lee film is the weakest film he's made so Yeah. This one was much more believable in the hulk universe and good casting. Some dialogue didn't work and most of it came from liv tyler (she's so so) and tim roth(surprisingly) But enjoyable from ed norton, but I found out he didn't like the final cut of it and had his screenplay credit removed.

Either case enjoyed it, good for one watch.

I thought this was a solid effort. Sort of The Hulk meets Bourne Identity. The action is top notch. The script, while not brilliant, gets the job done, although I am curious to see the longer cut of this film. The cast was mostly good. Norton is absolutely the right actor to play Banner. William Hurt was great as Thunderbolt Ross. Liv Tyler mostly does a good job, although the script fails her at times. Tim Roth, also good, but again seemed shortchanged by the material ala Jeff Bridges in Iron Man. Tim Blake Nelson is the one real off note. Whatever he was trying to do with this character didn't work. His performance was real annoying. The CGI work never really achieves any kind of photorealism. The Hulk's eyes fail to convince. And it is without a doubt one of the LOUDEST films I've seen in some time. The last 20 minutes are a non stop sonic assault...Also needed more of the Lonely Man theme, loved the nod that was in there, though. But all in all it was good enough that I'm looking forward to a sequel.

final analysis

too much action, needed more dialog/character dev.

I wouldn't say there's too much action, it just needed more dialog/character development to balance it out. Ed Norton felt the same way. I'd put money on the longer cut ending up on the DVD. Would make an interesting comparison.

this is why they should have never made this movie. it finished almost a full ten million shy of the original hulk's opening weekend. That was my whole point. This movie already showed us its audience. Why remake it? I wonder if we'll get another remake in five years when someone decides they have another way to start the story.

54 million is nothing to sneeze at. When you factor in competition from The Happening opening on the same day, and the bad taste left by the last movie, it's a good gross.

Agreed. That is a good number considering it did have competition. I did see "The Happening" as well and It was Perfectly Pointless in my opinon. Looked good, sounded good, but was'nt good. Not his worst though.

See the first Hulk movie. That was all that needed to be said, and then some.

If you still think it is a remake, you either haven't seen both movies, or just don't pay attention.

This is such a superior movie it's not even funny. I wasn't expecting much going in but the whole time I saw it I was thinking, "This is what the 2003 version should have been." The Hulk actually looks SCARY instead of cuddly, and he fights like the Hulk should be fighting: ripping up lots and lots of cars and buidings.

This is a must see guys, this is how the original should of been made, credit to Norton for making this happen. 8/10.

I heard the bluray version will have 70 mintues that was cut out. I'm guessing a lot of that was dialouge that Norton wanted to stay in.
