Thought I'd share an urban decay montage I shot last weekend on the 7D. Enjoy.

7D setup was pretty straight forward, with the sharpening all the way down. Most of the shots we're with my 50 1.4 & my Zenitar 16mm (russian cheapo).

The location is really killer, I'm hoping to shoot a few things there in the future.

glad you liked it. just a couple hours of shooting for fun.

I'll say. I am just so blown away by the level of quality a person can get with this format.

I have been toying with the idea of getting into these cameras, but I am curious...how much power do I need to edit something like this together?

Looks great, the location is straight horror fodder... But then again i think everything is horror fodder...

Which slider?

modified indislider mini. It gets the job done well enough for small cams.

@JustinBrown:

I transcoded all the footage to PR422 before the edit, and that takes some time. But for the actual editing, my 2.66 quad-core mac pro handles it pretty darn well.

Shoot me over an email if you wouldnt mind; kennon@decembersedge.com

I'd like to know how you modified yours, and also what lens you used. I really like it, if I had to guess a lens it would be somewhere in the tokina 11-16 range or 16-35mm L range... hahah just a guess.

The wide stuff was actually done on a super cheap Zenitar 16mm. Take that L glass, lol.

You can get a lot out a little if you play your cards right.
