Wasn't sure if i should post this here, or in the Cafe. But I'll post here since it involves DVX clips.

It's been over a year since I've had my camera...
But there was just so many bitchin' projects I saw post through these boards this year, that I feel they should be commorated :)

So... POST your favorite DVX clip of 2005 and why
Here's mine:

Personally, I had a hard time deciding between this, Disjecta, or Rich Lee's "Just like you" video. But I picked this because... It was just so damn fun to watch. I thought the essence of time was capture wonderfully and his technique of using super-8 for acquisition and capture it off a wall 24p was just awesome. I wanted to get up and start rockin out after watching this the first time.

Edit: I guess this can't really count as DVX since original acquisition was super8. Ah well. Still a nice piece to watch :D

100% love the video and the Song... Absolutely funtastic... I've got too many DVX favorites. Can't narrow it down to one.

captain fantastic! that video is brilliant. Even better because its got Lock from 'Lost' dancing like a maniac in a tracksuit.

My favourites are either...

Rich Lee's pre-cursor, loved the structure of this one, nothing cliche or cheesy;
or
Cody B's Sigur Ros "tikki" vid.

holy crap that video is amazing.
I cant believe that was shot on the dvx.
I wanna shake that guys hand and ask him 21 questions.

.

??? Looks more like Doug Kershaw...

digital interference has some great stuff and Norm's work on "6" is pretty fantastic. I love the whole look and feel of the piece and the camera movement is completely professional and slick.

I personally love all of Disjecta's stuff. They all look incredible. but that Just Like You video I just watched was outstanding. I haven't seen anything quite like that from the DVX.

and other than those, after a few other super works that I've seen on here (forget titles), I'd have to say that I prefer my own work. I don't think anyone else on this board seems to give a hoot about mine, but I think enjoy it.
