"The Encounter" - Bryan

Ought2b, where did you feel the music was "off"?

Anywho, thanks again for watching folks!

This film made me laugh, although I preferred the beginning, I thought the acting was a bit weird when he walked into the room, but when I saw the robot computer, i realised this must all have something to do with it. Not sure where the storyline was though.

Thanks for watching iSTy. What do you mean by "the acting was a bit weird when he walked into the room"? And the ending is supposed to be pretty nonsensical.

The storyline was this... After a late night of editing, Mike the college student hears a noise and sees something run into the campus studio. He goes to investigate, but whatever this thing is moves fast, he can't quite spot it. But suddenly, it reveals itself. It gestures for Mike to press a button on its control panel which will release its helmet. The thing removes the helmet to reveal...it's a Space Chicken! But Mike's not fooled, it's really just some dude in a gimp mask. Mike is taken back, but... not so much that he can't enjoy a good dance. The end.

LOL, thanks for sharing the storyline, that's roughly what I made of it although I didn't hear the noise I spose, I'll probably watch it again to double check.

When he walked into the campus studio and was looking around I wasn't really convinced he was looking for something it was more like he was looking around. Do you know what I mean :S?

Then I think you achieved what you were looking for.

I liked this one, up until the point the protagonist and the robot guy came face to face. At that point, I was like "WTF!" but not in a good way.

I dug your cinematography though, and your music was dead on.

Good job, and congratulations on reaching your nonsensical goals.

Thanks man. If anything from this movie should be recognized, it should be the awesome musical score from Mark D'Errico and Chris Bouchard. This thing could never live up to their music, it was too great.
