I liked the cotton clouds.
Cotton??? Oh no, I rented a helicopter, steadicam, and covered it live! Yeah, that's what I did. :cheesy:

Oh, congratulations on 1,000 posts!!!
Whoa... I completely missed that. I guess it's time for a beer!

Bump - What's happened to this place? None of the regular crew giving feedback? Everybody lost interest?

Remember, silence isn't golden around here.

Hey HansK - Sorry, haven't beeen around on the boards lately, been very busy w/ work and about to leave on europe trip soon. I liked your piece, I did think that the POV footage went on a little too long there, it was nice bringing the dogs back into it but I would have liked to see more. Hehe, I liked how he was speaking to Peter as well.

Yup, I wanted to edit that down. But I thought I should post it rather than make everyone wait longer. I shot a bunch of footage for that section but I used hardly any of it. Mostly because my birds just aren't as trained/smart/drugged as Disjecta's are. :)

Do you live in San Fran ? I grew up and went to high school in Napa Valley. Then I blew that place off and moved down to LA for school. Now I'm out of school and want to move back up to Norcal, I love it up there. So fresh and so clean.

I watched your episode 9 again and I thought of a few suggestions that could make the film stand out more. I must admit, when I first saw the egg that you approached and eventually ate, I thought you were showing us an angle outside of the POV shot. I think your short lacks alternate angles. I really liked seeing the egg floating into the clouds. I liked that, to see the egg. When he comes back to earth you just stay with the pov and then you cut the pov which confuses your audience. If you're going to do a pov for that long you shouldn't cut away unless if you're cutting to another angle. If you cut away to an egg in a tuft of grass very early on it will make it move faster, you don't need to cut anything out, you just need to varie it up. Suspend my disbelief. Also if you cut away there won't be any confusion when we see the egg he's about to eat. You could cut to a 2 shot of two eggs looking at one another then cut right back into a POV of him devouring the egg - Show a shot of him approaching the water then cut back to the POV. I think these things could enhance your video and make it even better.

I thought the whole thing was that he came back to earth as a dog? I know the POV went on too long, but I dont think he could really cut to a two shot of two eggs looking at one another because it would have been a dog and an egg.

wow I have problems - I didn't get that while watching it, I took it as the dog gulped up the egg at the end, now it makes sense

Yup. Great city.

I see joey_b answered why I switched to POV shots. I really need to shorten the middle section to speed it up. Also, because I had to stick with POV shots, it was really tough trying to blend them all together. I might recut to help with some of that.

Wow, I almost forgot about the egg series, I just watched them all back to back, it’s really interesting, thanks to everyone that keeps it going! I can't wait till I do another eppisode! (if thats allowed).

Is this capped out at 10 episodes or something?
Nope. If you would like to produce another episode you must wait for 10 after the last episode you have finished.

Ok, like, what the heck just happened to the egg? I am so confused after watching the last two episodes.... Wow... I need some explanation.... Thanks...

Someone needs to ground this sucker again, bring it back to basics, guy's with bad mustaches, women smuggling an egg to freedom, dog's.... We've had just a few too many transformations, starting to feel like this was written by Lynch and Engles.

I was SERIOUSLY considering doing a black lodge homage episode. Oh man it was gonna be sweet, I was gonna recreate the red waiting room (egg sized) and have all sorts of backwards speak... well now I can't do that.

Whoa... if you had said Spielberg then those would be fighten words. But Lynch? I can live with that. :)

Soooo, I think if someone doesn't like the storyline then they should film the film rather than talk the talk. Put your DVX where your mouth is.

Btw - How about a Zombie theme. Seems like a popular trend.
