We shot 85% of the movie in one day...actually 7 hours...that should be our recored...we're all burning hot from the direct sun exposure...It was acutally a fun day!

Will be putting up raw grabs...shortly...

We'll I'm burnt from filming yesterday, but I just finished the rough cut of what we have shot, looks great! I figured out how to get the better looking Screen grabs...so I've replaced the not so nice looking ones...so go back to first page, second entry...remember they're raw.

ps...Yes there was a moment we all had to get serious because we had company...But thank God in Texas you don't need no stinkin' permits...as long as you don't film protected structures...ala...dams...Close call but they were nice...also didn't know you could drive on the dam...who'da thunk it...

thank you very much, apparentily we're all oozing puss now, we got so sunburnt from Saturday... After Editing...just a few pick ups and then the 2 more short scenes and we're done! But for continuity's sake...we're waiting till we get back to our normal skin tone lol...

I am pleased with the outcome of the filming!

but I do have a question...can credits go over opening scene and count, then at the end put required 2 second thanks to DVXuser?

I'm now peeling everywhere on my face...I think I got a 2nd degree burn on my face...it hurt for a while. but now it just itches...I've burried myself in editing...I can't wait to actually watch it in its entirity...instead of having slates pop up with shots that are needed...but cant do that because need to heal for continuity's sake...lol

I was kinda experimenting alittle on this...hope it goes over well...

Well off to work...take care (ps..comments are welcome...)

I'm sorry, you meant oozing pus. The other means something completely different. Or does it? I'm not sure what kind of film you're making.

Alright so some might wonder what this film is about.... some may not give a damn...

This movie was kind of an experiment on my part. 1) To do a fun movie with everyone that could, that had been involved with any of Gary’s films or mine. 2) Was to have a little role reversal. Put myself, Gary and Matt in front of the camera, as apposed to behind the camera. To see what the people we push around have to go through. It was a learning experience.

For the past few months Gary had said, they always say that playing yourself is the hardest part to play; I don't know if I can do it. I understood what he was talking about, but at the same time I said to him "Gary, nobody knows Gary French like you do man, you've been studying him for the last 25+ years".
I will say I'm very pleased with the performances, not only by the three of us, but everyone else!

I'm taking a break from the editing process, don't want to totally consume myself with it and get to the point that I've watched it to many times, that I want to reshoot the entire thing.

So I'm warning you all now, Gary, Matt and myself aren't actors by any means, but we did a descent job. Just be wary of that whilst watching. LOL

PS. and if you can tell me what the movie is about I'd like to know myself...HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm completely healed from my 2nd degree (or what seemed like it) sunburn. Still have a bit of peeling on my feet but I'm good to go, now to finish the shoot. And work around shooting Jason's Masterpiece...Needless to say I'll be happy to work with a serious filmmaker in this fest. To see the final film on our beloved Bart.

back to my film...
just 2 scenes missing from the movie and it'll be complete, then comes the edit...and scoring...

Anyhoos, guess I should do some actual work while I'm at work...
