SHORT: The Cradle Will Fall: Thriller

Nice production value throughout though some of the color mismatched a bit (like the initial shot of the cop and then the closer cut).

Some of the dialog sounded weird like when the police office found the girl. Wasn't natural sounding, and the cop had no emotion in his voice, but the dialog needed it.

I felt like there was so much more you could have done with this by building up suspense. There's no tension when the police office walks around looking for Claire. And then he just finds her sitting there in a big open area in a pretty boring manner.

The interview dialog also was a little cliche at times. "Claire's not here right now" didn't work for me. And what was with the girl turning into the other person for a glimpse? Since she's not someone we've ever seen or can associate with it just confuses the whole story and to me didn't deliver any payoff. So I didn't get what you were trying to achieve with the story.

This was a pretty good short with some good acting, especially with Claire and the guy interviewing her. The opening shot with the script on the table was obvious to anybody that has seen a script before though. I thought the attack and the set up was pretty good. I also thought the interview segment was excellent. The story had potential, but was kind of a let down at the end, because it didn't seem to really go anywhere. Other than that, I thought it was pretty good.

Thanks guys

The film is potentially a smaller part to a larger film. It acts more of a teaser which is probably why you're thinking there's a confusing ending.

Other than that I'm glad you liked it
