The Cost

Panavision lenses eh ? Its not THAT big difference after seeing stuff shot on stills lenses.
Looks good. One difference i notice is that faces arent so flat like when using still lenses, why is that ?

where do you guys see the footage? I went to the link and saw only some lowres pictures slideshow at the site...

Just pointing out the link 'cause I thought the footage looked awesome. I thought I saw it also on vimeo or youtube or something but I can't find the link.

Just click on the link and it will play, only click on the page if you want to see the other lnks. It works fine.

Ah... I usually skipped the flash intro on websites... LOL... but this time, the flash is the movie... okay!
But yes, very awesome looking footage... very impressive!

Yes he was the production assistant on the set of "Cloverfield."

I actually downloaded this footage earlier this week but I forgot where from. It looks excellent to me.

Yea, it's actually really nice to see someone that knows what not to do go out and do it (hope that makes sense).

I'll buy the dvd, probably 50 of them.

Brian is a class act from what I here, a very hard working guy.

I do not know him but it would be great if he came here.

BTW anyone who works for Bryan Burk is a bad ass.

His old boss loves him, here is what he only thinks people should know: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1333357/ the rest is calssified...

EDIT: sorry for the edits :)

And here I am at 2 am getting home from a 150 mile trip from donating all my camera equiptment to inner city schools so the kids can learn more.

I have been teaching them what not to do FTR. :)

The credits say Habib the dp made an award winning short called "Interval", but I cannot find it on the web.

Fantastic footage.

really nice looking stuff

Boulder, are you affiliated with The Cost or just posting a link for others to see?

I just realized that this movie was shot with the 7d when a quick Google search for the website led me here to this thread. I'm not affiliated with the movie or anything but I feel compelled to mention that my brother is actually in this movie. I just thought it was pretty cool that people are actually talking about it, even if it is due to the camera used.

I came across this site when doing some research on the 7d (after seeing Philip Bloom's Dublin video on Gizmodo) and now it looks like I've got even more reason to pick it up sooner if it can create video this cinematic.

In case anyone's wondering, he's the guy running through the alley and tossing the stuff in the garbage can.

While on the topic of the 7d's cinematic qualities, THIS video was uploaded today on Vimeo, best I've seen so far after "The Cost."
