From a quick Google search... RED is the color of life. The color of fire and blood, aggressiveness and intensity, love and anger, passion, valor and hardiness, bravery and courage, charity, prosperity, leadership, energy, strength and war. It is the color that stimulates quick thinking and action. That all sounds right to me...

It's also the color of my hair and describes my personality pretty closely, which means when its available, I WILL be getting a Red Camera!
 
In Japan, Red is the color of loyalty.

...dunno what that would imply, just thought I'd throw it out there.
 
Red is also the colour of the blood flowing from the eyes of the major camera manufacturers when they get to see it at NAB.
 
RED is the color my bank statement will be printed in the day this thing's released.

At least, for a couple of weeks, at which point I'll be back in the black! :thumbsup:

I only want one if it has a red glowing eyeball and a button that says "hello dave." Is that glowing eye on the website inspired by 2001? Will this camera shoot my films for me? And will it make them so good that I become obsolete?
