The blanking charger is blinking

not sure what to do here, but the green charge light is blinking when i place one of my batteries on the charger. somewhat of a bummer as it is one of my new DVXUser batteries. The camera will not power on with this battery. anyone know what this means?
 
Your battery is dead. If you have a slow charger you might be able to revive the battery, but it's unlikely.
You say new, how new? Get a refund.
 
I got them on december 15th. its the battery that is advertised at the top of the forum at times... the other one rocks...this one is well.....i guess toast
