I recently came across a brief artist statement written by abstract painter Peter Halley in 1982. The words were eloquent and inspiring but what was amazing about reading them was how well they summed up (for me) the possibility, the joy, the whole vibe of the no budget DSLR video phenomenon. Going into year 5 of the DSLR era, I got a lot of uplift and thought it would be fun to adapt those 7 notes and structure a little video around it. I'd love it if you'd be able to give it a look...aliasing and moire and all!
(I've posted videos here previously and have been given the advice that I should give more space to my edits--really tried to keep that front of mind when putting this together--which made for a much more watchable video I think. Thanks dvxuser!)
