"the adversary" first short movie.

This is outstanding work. It completely blows most of the work show here right out of the water. Really, really good - and I don't praise easily :)

It's affecting, the mood is well controlled, the acting good, the story very nice. I think you'd be great for horror movies, a real talent from Italy :) (btw., I hate that worthless no-talent hack Dario Argento).

I can hardly find any criticism. The gold fish is a slight cliche - something fresher would be better. Maybe I'd shorten the last clip slightly - the camera swinging toward the car takes tooooooo long, and the reveal does not support a move of that length, dramatically speaking. The other thing is I liked the music very much, but maybe using Radiohead, well, it's a bit too well known, I'd prefer something fresh, though it fits so well I hardly have the heart to criticize it.

Great, great job all around. Damn, if I was producing, I'd definitely hire you! Do not give up, keep working, I'm sure we'll see your name on big movies one day.

For your first short film you really did an outstanding job. The opening shot really did it for me. It really grabbed you in. Some of the performances could have been a bit subtler - the guy in the TV mostly. And I agree, the last shot drags too long. But great effort overall, you should be proud!
 
I rather enjoyed that.

And I rarely... very rarely enjoy anything on this site.

What I liked; was your opening shot didn't cut to craptacular sound work, and instead you had the music carry over.

Most of the time people spend so much time on intros / credits etc.. that sound great.. then they cut to the actual film and it sounds like ass, which completely betrays there opening quality level and makes me head for the close window button.

So kudos sir, well done. I am not sure I fully understood what the connection with the goldfish was.. but it is late and I somewhat enjoyed the ambiguity of it.

Very cool movie. The only thing I didn't like is that near the middle or 2/3 into the movie I was wondering "where is this going"? Perhaps could have tightened it up a bit, especially that last shot.

But the first half was wonderful. Very well well done. I like the TV screen, the background, the look, etc...
 
The sound mixing is what truly sets this apart. Sound really does matter more than image sometimes.

I would redo the highway scene audio, simply because it doesn't match up with everything else. You could probably just mix in ambient highway audio recorded with a separate device.

Other than that, keep up the amazing work bro.

I was forgetting to explain to loki the fish's meaning: the fish is a metaphor of today's man, comfortable living in his own glass container believing to be safe and free, but suddenly one day his enchanted world breaks off without him knowing how and why.
