The A-Team movie!

After Rampage's poor performance against Rashad Evans on Saturday night, I'm thinking that he's going to make a pretty weak BA. Oh well.

In all fairness, Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat, and CHiPs were all cheesy '70s shows which survived into the '80s. Hope that answers your question. :)

Dear God, I shudder at the thought of big budget remakes of The Love Boat and CHiPs. Let's face it though, both will probably be made eventually.

We'll create a digital Tony Danza. No one will ever know the difference.

Mwuhahahahaha!

Wow. I'm gonna have horrible nightmares tonight.

Although, a digital Tony Danza can't be much worse than a digital Orville Redenbacher.

"The lowest of lowest depths have been reached with Small Wonder." Might be interesting if they got the "Permanent Midnight" writer that wrote all those Alf episodes on horse took a whack at it.

Holy moly, ALF!!!! Where is the big budget ALF movie? They could even do a somewhat scary teaser trailer with the following tagline:

"Do you know where your cat is?"

I always hated that show, but I remember my friend who grew up partially in Colombia said the guy who dubbed his voice in Spanish was a lot funnier. When he saw the American version he didn't like it as much.

If Hank Azaria is running around in a Gargamel costume, an ALF remake can not be far off.

And BTW, a Small Wonder film would have to be one of the seven signs of the Apocalypse.

I liked Narc but probably will skip this til cable and that's still iffy (who am I kiddin' I'll be the first in line sportin' a Mohawk dressed like Mister T screaming "I pity the fool""wheres the beef" "whoah" and any other random catch phrases from the 8o's I can regurgitate , unless the world cup is on.)

Had an interesting conversation with my Mom last night concerning this movie - what with wars abroad and financial troubles at home and oil spills and home foreclosures and stagnating job markets, etc, etc, etc a back-to-the-feel-good-eighties nostalgia-piece like this has the potential to do huge business, whether it's much good in any particular way, or not.

It might...My concern is with the consensus being the thinness of the script. Not that I expected Mamet...but if it's just a series of setpieces held together with the flimsiest excuse of a plot I'll be disappointed, as I expected a little more with Carnahan at the helm.
