time permitting, if anyone wants to spend the day at the theater, i may go early to take in Michel Gondry's new documentary THE THORN IN THE HEART which plays from 4pm to 5:30pm before the DVX FEST screening. plenty of places nearby to grab a bite to eat in between.

Here's some more info regarding the screening site, parking, etc.

PARKING
Street parking is FREE after 6pm. The lot next door is $8 (Welcome to LA, folks!) and CASH ONLY. I would advise coming early enough to grab street parking, or carpooling to share the cost of the lot.


AMENITIES
FREE public WiFi. So bring your laptop and and keep up with the discussion from members watching you over streaming video. ATM Machine in the lobby, so you can freely forget that the parking lot was CASH ONLY until you're pulling in... and panicking.


FOOD NEARBY
There is a Pitfire Pizza half a block down on the corner of Main and 2nd.

As we have done the past two years, there will be a live stream broadcast of the event for those who will not be able to attend in person. And we'll also have a chat session up and running again, that was a fun experience, sort of like being able to virtually mingle and network.

The past two years have been a blast, really looking forward to attending again this year. Especially looking forward to meeting up with many of you who I only know as avatar's and snippy comments here on the forums
