Any idea which films from previous fests will be shown?

[Larry Rutledge]

Unfortunately, no one has asked to screen a copy of my Hero Fest entry :crybaby: ... so don't be looking for that to show

keeping that under wraps. the schedule is set. it will not disappoint.

[Mike@AF]

I assume then that the makers of the films selected are going to be notified?

[Nic Aragon]

im def there

yes. in fact, that's the only way to make sure they screen... in HD.

[Mattykins]

Stuck on the East Coast again. Though if everything goes as planned I'll stay in LA for the summer after my semester out there early 2010. So, this baby better be annual.

Ah, then I guess since we haven't heard anything "Sorry" isn't one of them. Bummer. Oh well. I'm still going. See you all there.

Hey guys, I've been absent from DVXuser for a bit while I've been dealing with some other stuff, but this sounds really great. Congrats, it seems like you're putting together a cool event, and I will definitely be there.

And, since this theater is just 3 blocks away from our offices in burgeoning downtown, I'd like to invite people back to our place for an official (or unofficial) afterparty! Let me know if people are interested in this so I know whether or not we need to get booze and treats and all that jazz.

(To be followed, as every night, with Jumbo's Clown Room.)

[Mark Harris]

Doug, regardless of whether anyone else is in, please get booze for me. Thanks.

[Larry Rutledge]

Does anyone familiar with the venue know if they have wifi? Or does anyone have a MyFi or air card they would let me use for the evening?

[Zak Forsman]

the theater has wifi and ethernet ports for internet access.

[Larry Rutledge]

Excellent! Thanks Zak

[Mattykins]

Larry, you planning on doing the web cast again this time around?
