The 24F function on the XH-A1

I was reading somewhere that the canon XH-A1 is a camera with 800 lines of resolution.

I also read somewhere (can't remember off the top of my head), that when you record in 24F mode on this camera, you lose 15% of the camera's original resolution in this process. But, the reviewer who wrote the article said that to all intents and purposes, Canons 24F mode is still heaps better than the phoney pseudo-progressive mode that Sony put on the Z1P.

What are your thoughts?

For people on this site you've used this camera, how do you find the 24F mode? Is it enough to pass off as 24P? Could you tell the difference?

It's perfect. Every bit as sharp, if not sharper than other comparable cameras with native progressive scan. Same motion cadence.
