GH2 Thankyou Panasonic for the GH2 firmware 1.1, yes it does do 25p and 30p

So to re-wrap the 50i to 25p do we use Cinema Tools... as they footage I shot last night still comes into FCP as Upper Field First...

Cheers

roei z: Ach damn, i am from europe and i need 25p!

it's ok, i'm from Israel also with Pal..
but i intend to shoot either for Internet or theater screenings, so at the moment i'm not so pressured.
(look around at personal-view.com for details on new hack that might be released soon- even in the next few days, who knows)

Guys, having FW 1.1 - how to disable displaying the "Photo ON/OFF" in Ex. Tele Conv. mode? I mean displaying, not the function itself. I have Ex. Tele Conv. set to Function 1 button to quickly switch forth and back, and since I use my GH2 almost exclusively for video - it is annoying that "Photo ON/OFF" it is first on the list after I press the Fn1 button! So I have to use cursor keys to navigate to "video ex. tele conv. on/off" which is not handy...

I use the same setup. Until you mentioned it I didn't really notice. Now that you brought it to my attention, I'm going to find it annoying.

And I couldn't find a way to change the way the screen displays. Ideally, the hierarchy should follow what is selected on the top wheel, but it doesn't.

Same here. Although by now I've just gotten used to it. Would be nice though to turn it off completely. One thing that is awesome having the Ex. Tele Conv feature is on a steadicam or other typr of stabilizing device. You now can have 2 focal lengths to work with without having to rebalance the rig! Love this feature.
