Test Shots For Horror Short w/ SGpro

3rd time using the HVX with my SGpro. I am shooting my horror short in one week and struggling to get organized. I ended up trying out shots I saw in my head, but wasn't sure if they would work. The first half of the video are possible shots I want to do when I actually shoot. The rest of the video is random footage I shot while getting used to the HVX. Including NJ snow in October, that took our power for almost a whole week.

man, that is some beautiful stuff Steven.

Gotta love the SgPro, what an absolutely beautiful image it produces.

How did you rig those car shots?

Thanks PaPa
I am amazed at how crisp and clear the SGpro is with the HVX. I thought it was nice with the DVX, but this out does that by a lot. The car shots were done with a stickypod, no adapter. I just stuck it to the side of the car. I didn't think it through, so when I was done, the lens filter was brown from mud. It wasn't my camera though...

Better do it quick, they don't have many of the current version left. But the new one should be nice, and not too much more expensive either.

That is some organic footage. Panasonic has realy given us the closest look to film in its color rendition.

Did you remove the adapter to keep the weight down? Do you know if it can handle all that mass hanging off of the sticky pod?

Thanks guys. My actual video should be good, hopefully. I will put it up here for sure for feedback.

PaPa- Yeah I took the adapter off because I think it would have been too front heavy. I think if I had it on the hood or something, I could have kept it on, but put like a piece of foam under the front end of the camera cause the sticky pod would not be able to hold it up.
