Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

maybe, but I also know that this show has been in development for a long time. I dont think one is promotion for the other, although who knows

Went to Universal Studios and watched the 3-d Terminator ride/film/show. Never seen it before and didn't know they used all the original actors. The show is pretty good as those things go, but it really made me realize that I actually miss seeing the Schwarzenegger on screen. Vin Diesel and The Rock aren't really substitutes. There is only one 'Negger', and he is irreplaceable.

Just watched Self Made Man episode. Interesting. Still hooked on this one and Fringe as well.

Ah Summer..

last episode was cool it was refreshing. i like the whole story with the handicapped man and the 1920's terminator. very cool.

I really like this series, and I'm hard to please when it comes to my Terminators.

T1 and T2 = awesome.

T3 = ok, kind of a waste of time, and too much of a rehash of T2's best moments.

I was skeptical, but this show has grabbed hold of me. Linda Hamilton will always be Sarah Connor, and Arnie will always be the "iconic" terminator, but Lena Heady and Summer Glau are doing an amazing job with such iconic characters. I like the new John Connor in this series better than Furlong and the one from T3. I think Bale will do well as JC in T4 though.

I hope this, at the very least, gets a third season with a satisfying ending to the series.

Summer's cute, but Stephanie Jacobson, who plays Jesse, is hot as all hell--

She is like all that is good about every race on earth rolled up into one delicious package.

I gave up on this show at the awful nuclear power plant episode. But I hope if Skynet was sending Terminators back to the 20s, they went to pains to say it didn't dare change anything at all because anything could lead to Skynet never being built. Otherwise, there are many, many Connors they could choose to kill throughout time, making the premise silly.

Yeah, this show's lameness is beyond even Dean Winters' ability to save it.

Which is sad, because there would have been plenty of good stories to tell in the lead up to skynet's take-over without having to send a term back seemingly EVERY WEEK.

The Terminator ended up in the 20's by accident, and DID end up changing things, which he then had to undo by accomplishing all the major things that one of the people he killed had achieved. It's interesting. I think this show is better the smaller and more intimate it gets. When it tries to emulate the scale of the films is when it falls flat.

I never even made it that far. I gave up on this a while ago because I think it's boring. I need to cancel the series recording on my DVR because those HD shows take up so much space...

;;;;;;;

i mean it waiting in a building that was suppose to be bukt he killed the builder i mean buried behind the wall awesome!

I thought it was a great epi. I especially enjoyed the library night clerk character and his interaction with Cameron. The nuclear plant episode was doused with lame sauce for sure, but I still really enjoy the show. I just watched The Brothers Grimm and was pleased to see Lena Headey.

Well, I gave up on this show after they hyped up killing Chromartie and then brought him back the very next frickin' episode as John Henry. (And the improbable ease of killing Chromartie didn't exactly help.) But, last night Comedy Central screwed me out of my Daily Show and Colbert reruns, so I flipped over to TSSC, and... WTF?!?

***SPOILERS***

That had to be the most offhanded, anticlimactic, elimination of a main character ever. Tasha Yar got a better final episode than Reese. And it didn't seem like anybody gave a damn. As a friend of mine put it, "Yeah, they moped around for a while, but they're always moping around like that."

I am so over this show. Here's hoping the new movie is better...

I actually think the stuff with the new John Henry is the only thing keeping the show watchable. I'm finding his character and arc kind of fascinating. I agree that the killing of Reese was completely unceremonious, but, in a way, I kind of like that. What I don't like is how completely dour and humorless the Connor's have become, and kind of one dimensional. At this point they are the least interesting characters in the show.

they more machine than the robots?

Interesting point...But it's also the way the writing has set them up. Most of the major conflicts and dilemmas are being given to the secondary characters. The Connors are just being pushed around by external events.

??????? Is this article a joke? Wow, the 1st comment below the article pretty much says it all. Salvation is going to charge up an already-hot franchise.

And we were left with such a bizarre cliffhanger. I would think someone would pick this up. I thought it was one of Fox hottest shows, but I don't check Neilson ratings. LOL, Now what are we gonna do on Friday nights?
