temporal compression error?

Hi, I made the mistake of recording my footage on 1080p24 instead of using the advanced pulldown. All I've read is that you can do a reverse telecine using cinema tools, however, every time I try it says there is a temporal compression error. Is there something else I can do?

EDIT: I am using a Macbook pro running Mac OSX 10.5.3
