telephoto lens , wide angle and filters

hey guys i dont know when i should use my telephoto lens or my wide angle lens or when to put on my filters. i have three diff filters and id otn know when to put them on. also when i put on my wide angle lens the sides of it show up when i shoot, and it looks like the picture is like in a big circle. PLEASSEEEE POST SOMETHING i need your help.

You don't need our help, you just need practice. You have to develop these skills and see what you like and what you don't. As far as the black circle, you're seeing vignetting, and you have to learn when it happens and when it doesn't. If the black circle is there, you have to zoom in to avoid it.

What kind of wide angle lens do you have, if you have a lens 9mm or below that is why you would be getting the "fish-eye" effect
