There is a Schnieder at over a $1k and it 1,6 bayonet and a 16x9 Inc. lens at under a grand and it is 1.5 screw on. Both are said to be for the 150/170 and both are partial zoom through like all the ones for previous cameras. Both claim minor light loss.
Anyone have either?
I have to shoot board sailing from shore and need as much lens as I can get. On my previous camera I used a Japanese generic tele adapter that worked fine for shots of speakers from a riser in the back of the hall. They were all well illuminated and there was no need to use the zoom.
My other option is to rent an HPX 500 and long lens.
Suggestions?
