Camera settings were:
F5 24P mode
Detail level -3
Master Ped -6
A. Iris LEvel -1
Gamma Cine-like_V
V detail Thin
I did some tests off and used the information in the article section.
The bathroom echo is completely on-set sound with a sennheiser mic boomed down on the actors. I didn't want to correct it because I really like the slam against the wall noise.
The full trailer will have a musical score for sure. For the teaser I settled for the musical "tones" that run over the teaser.

Without watching it again just for the sound issues, here's what stuck with me about the sound:
A lot of it sounded hallow, or had pops & crackles here & there
There were places where there SHOULD have been sound, and there wasn't
The sound seemed slightly out of sync in many spots, of not everything ... even just slightly.
The images were good, and sometimes great, but the sound quality is what pulled it down ... some of which can be masked/improved with a music track ... otherwise, it's very naked & exposed so that's probably why people are noticing the lack of quality in the sound as much as they are.

Sounds like poor compression stuff
Sounds like poor compression stuff
Ben, all I have to say is that I played the internet copy along side of the original file and there is an obvious quality diference. Watching the clean uncompresses version is like looking through clean glass. The internet version occasionally, depending on your browser and connection looses sync. I have had this problem, too. I can't say the sound is perfect considering we didn't master a thing for this trailer, but there is a huge difference between the different files. That's just the way it is I guess.

Fair enough. I will try to load up a new version of the large and small teaser WITH uncompressed sound. Hopefully that will make everything kosher.

Very nice. I love the look of it. Something about the colors- I can't put my finger on it. And maybe it was the crappy headphones I was using, that I rebuilt out of earmuffs, but I liked the sound. Maybe the quality wasn't up to par, but the style scratched my itch.
I want more!

Ok I have just uploaded a newly compressed large version of the teaser. There is a little bit of compression artifacts in the video but the audio is completely uncompressed. If anybody wants to see a completely uncompressed version of the teaser PM me, I'll try to make some space on my server.
