Something I shot in the past two weeks for a short I'm working on this spring. It's supposed to be a bit over the top/melodramatic.

 
Good stuff William, especially liked the second half with the car chase clips. Did you ever get the email and PM I sent you?
 
Well done, the editing and sound is really good, nice juxtaposing serious voices and music over dramatic shots of Pabst and fake mustaches.

It's always funny to see 20 somethings having to pretend talk low growling voices like there 12 years old again, because cool/bad guy voices are a matter of scientific fact 3 octaves and 3 packs of cigarettes deeper than your own no matter what.

Naturally :).

It gripes me to, but for what I am going for, it will work. I'd rather have a blast with my 20something year old friends then stress about getting people who like the right age for the part. Film making just needs to be fun sometimes.

Yeah, it looks like it's going to be wild, when it's fun it can really become contagious for the viewer.

If it weren't for the good technical craftsmanship that obvious playacting could feel tiresome, lazy, or indulgent but when you show you know what you're doing on some level, and not just layering incompetence with yet more incompetence, people give you some slack and suspend disbelief.
 
that stuff looks great! lighting was pretty spot on too....can't wait to see the final product
 
Yeah this was great. I second the car chasing shots - they were spot on pro. Looking forward to seeing this!
