You have some very nice pictures here. But, I really dislike the silent movie approach. Cutting the shots to fit the score works for music video, but is just cheesy for dramatic narrative. Buster Keaton anyone?
 
There is loads of dialogue - that will be used in the edit - the actual film - to be done by the editor !

Im the DOP/Operator - my second short - far more visually complex than the first - just playing with the footy really to see if it cuts into sequences and to analise the camera, my exposrue, focus pulling (which I do myself) etc- that is the learning experience for me not to leave the editor in an uncuttable hole

I find doing such rough cuts (and the actual camera work) improve my shooting - litterally 40-50 hours behind the camera in the last month (as well as the day job) is an awesome development for me..

Understood, I guess you just couldn't wait to show off your pictures. Like I said they're very nice. Look forward to seeing something with sound.
 
Well mate, you billed it as 'teaser.' And as a teaser, I saw a cheesy-silent movie. If you want 'crits' on your pictures, I'm sure there's plenty of folk here, who could find a few faults with the camera work, color grading, editing etc.

I think that's all good. Of course, it remains to be seen how good the final product is.
 
Indeed - its out of my hands now - my first short they made it make sense but some of the hero focus pulls and oners (things that cam operators like) were lost onto 'the floor'
