Teaser for no-budget action thriller feature!

Your grading is all over the map. I never believed the guy wasn't just an actor running around, for way too long. Long running scenes like this are really boring. And I agree with the dutch angles. Either the cameraman wasn't looking through the viewfinder and just winging it or you were going for the constantly skewed look.

I'll agree, too many dutch angles. And yes, I was going for a constantly skewed look and I was just winging it. As far as grading goes, I just popped on a preset and exported. We didn't have a plan or another person for the actor to actually chase. I appreciate the input mos def.

O.K. Now, Please do not take this personally.

First of all, it seems like it could be a decent film.

However, the color correction is very bad. presets are starting points, not a quick way to get something done. A bunch of shots your actor had glowing skin. Either get a colorist, or do lots of research.

Thirdly, the audio. It was really bad. From the gunshots, to the voices. I don;t mean to be rude here, but I am just giving my critique. try to invest in a Zoom H4n and get some better SF. also, a muzzle flash wouldn't hurt on his gun either. Remember: audiences forgive bad picture quicker than they forgive bad audio.

If this was meant to get people excited for the film, to show people as they wait for the film, I sadly have to say it did not work. It looks like it was tossed together without a whole lot of care put into it, making me feel as though the entire movie will be like this.

The filming of the video itself was nice, other than the dutch angle thing.

I don't take it personally. The gunshots are being fired at him, hence no muzzle flashes. And, perhaps for the feature, I will get a colorist. I do have the Zoom h4n , but I didn't use it and the gun shots are from Action essentials by video copilot. I do appreciate the feedback!

Looks good. Notes: Add some reverb to those gunshots, so it sounds like they were actually shot in the stairwell. Re-dub the guy's lines. And cut the whole thing down. It should be fast like the guy's running, otherwise it's just "look at these shots." Too much lingering on too many shots.
