-TEARS - feature film

Wow! Very impressive....I can't wait to see the film. The first trailer made me think this was a horror flick, but the second trailer made me think it was a drama/mystery film. Which is it? Or, is it something else entirely?

Peace,
Larry

Thanks Larry,

The film is all of the above. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Yes, I second Larry's comment. The two trailers portray two entirely different films. Still, they both look great.

Bluespider,

Outstanding lighting! Honestly, this is some of the best looking DVX footage I've ever seen - probably the best in fact.

Could you please describe some of your lighting set-up/camera settings? Did you use a specific 35mm adapter?

This is really a high water mark for this camera - nice work!!

I'm looking forward to seeing your film.

Wow. Trailer B blew me away. It almost had me crying as well! I know it's just a trailer, but it seemed like all of the clips after the title seemed unneccesary.

Anyway, this looks great!

That's a good point Larry made. The two trailers were completely different. Trailer B is the direction I hope the movie goes in. I'd love to see a really good drama from a fellow DVXer.

FANTASTIC!.

Pictures of your behind the scenes so that we can have an eye view of set ups please.

Great Job!. So everyone, let's keep the professionalism the same across the board please!.

Thanks for all your compliments everyone!

Most of the looks were done in camera, don't have exact settings, etc. The DVX was a PAL model which actually looks better than NTSC. No 35mm adapter was used except ocasionally we fitted the DVX with the .6 wideangle.

Blue Spider,

The trailers and screen captures available are very inspirational and make one reconsider the statements many have been making about the DVX becoming irrelevant in today's HDV craze. What can you tell us about the lighting techniques used here?

All I see is a flash slideshow. Why is the trailer down?
